Grades are being updated  and I have let everyone know that the majority of their grade rests in the next two months when the culmination of their effort and knowledge come together. With the change in the time tabling and having Band during the school day, it has caused some challenges, particularly with the blended grades. This does make the evaluation process more challenging as well and I want you to know that the marking scheme is needing to be more flexible than in typical years.
 
If you have any questions or concerns at any time, please let me know. Students have not been taking home their evaluations, practice sheets, assignments.....so if they are not keeping up to date, they will need to refresh their commitment level and really aim at having a strong concert at the end of the year.

The Music Department offers many exciting events to be a part of each year. Programs offered throughout the year include:

  • Beginner Band
  • Advanced Band
  • Jazz Band
  • Choir
  • Guitar Club
  • Plus SASS (song composition club), Musical Theatre, African Drumming Ensemble

Some activities may include: Music Tours, Retreats, Festivals, District Meets and special community projects.

Come and join one of our ensembles and meet new friends while having terrific musical "edventures!"

The Virtual Classroom link is a password protected area in which students participate in online learning activities.  Students can access this area with their school username and password.
