We'll use this site to keep track of upcoming assignments and class events.  Parents please visit this site often to see what's happening in our classroom. 

The Virtual Classroom link is a password protected area in which students participate in online learning activities.  Students can access this area with their school username and password.

 Announcements
ED HOMEWORK
Reminder that April 19th is the last day to hand in your assignment. Don't forget to get your parent/ guardian to comment and include a photo for complete marks.  bon appetit!
Note: recipes may be doubled or tripled as needed.
MAKEUP LABS
Students who have missed a lab received an "I Report" to be completed at home under parent/ guardian supervision. This assignment MUST be received on (or before!) the due date. Thank you in advance for your assistance :)
FN 9 INTRO UNIT test has been rescheduled to Monday, February 13th due to the large number of absences & lates today.  If a student is ill and will not be attending class on Monday, parent/ guardian must email Ms. Cawker prior to class.  Absentees must write the test in flex on their 1st day back at school.
FLEXPECTATIONS
FLEX is held in my Foods lab Room 206. This should be used to catch up work missed due to recent absences or for extra help/ time with assignments.  Remember it is your responsibility to keep up to date with all work and to catchup missed assignments etc on your 1st day back!
SEMESTER II Expectations
Students, after reviewing the course outline and expectations with their parents/ guardian, have brought in their signed student profiles.  They are busy practicing and acquiring culinary skills/ techniques.  Edible homework assignments, to be completed under parent or guardian supervision, will be commencing in the next 2 weeks.
SEMESTER I FINAL MARK ASSESSMENTS are waiting for pickup. Please see me to collect and take home.  Congratulations on a successful term.
THE END IS IN SIGHT!
But there is still lots to learn and complete. Please use flex and afterschool to keep up to date and get that extra help. Your final projects demonstrate what you have learned as well as your effort :)
FLEXPECTATIONS
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are in Rm 202 especially for Textiles 9, 11, 12 students to work on projects, catch up missed work or for extra help.  Mondays and Thursdays are in Room 206 (Foods).
IF YOU'VE (gasp) MISSED CLASS...
You MUST see Ms. Cawker during flex or afterschool on the day you return to catch-up missed notes , write missed test, find out due dates &/or  collect make-up lab (if needed).  Failure to do so will result in lost opportunities.
